William Masters m.(1758) Mary Gibbons
William Masters
married Mary Gibbons (or Gibbins)
at Marton on 3 December 1758 (the marriage was registered
again at Leamington Hastings on 21 December 1758). Mary was
possibly the daughter of EDMUND and MARY GIBBINS, baptised 1733
at Leamington Hastings. An Edmund Gibbins had married Mary Porter
on 22 January 1731 at Leamington Hastings.
Offspring of William and Mary Masters included:
- ANN MASTERS (baptised at Marton in 1759, buried at Marton
on 5 June 1776),
- MARY MASTERS (baptised at Marton in 1761, buried at Marton
on 29 March 1762),
- WILLIAM MASTERS (baptised at Marton in 1762, buried at Marton
on 26 May 1766),
- EDWARD MASTERS (baptised at Marton in 1765),
- MARY MASTERS (baptised at
Marton in 1767; married William Batcheldor),
- WILLIAM MASTERS (baptised at Marton in 1769),
- JOHN MASTERS (baptised at Marton in 1772),
- SARAH MASTERS (baptised at Marton in 1774, possibly the
Sarah who married Joseph Miller at Marton on 16 May 1796) and
- GEORGE MASTERS (baptised at Marton in 1776, buried at Marton
on 5 September 1777).
