We have two guinea pigs in the cage: Punky and Peanut.

PUNKIE punkie

Punky is a bristle-haired guinea pig, also two colored. Because of the bristles we named her Punky.
We bought Punky together with her sister Popcorn, and Punky was growing a lot faster then her little sister. Two weeks before she had her little baby we started to suspect that she might be pregnant! In the middle of the night on November 13th 2002 her son was born. We were so surprised! It was so cute! She was a very young mother, but she was a good mother!

PEANUT

And there he was, little Peanut. At first we were not sure if he was a boy or a girl. But when he was a little older we knew he was a boy. Because we did not want to have little guinea pigs every 3 or 4 months, we took him to the vet. He could not become father anymore, but he loved Popcorn and Punky very very much! And now he is living very happily with his mother.
