Now I can say something.
Let's be clear about who is the boss here in the Lodder home,
ME!!
This family should be very happy I chose them as my pets. Because
that is how it works, not the other way around, clear?
Well, about my history I do not want to tell that much. Do not
like to look back. At a point in time I was in this hostel and
the family came to pick up a cat (you people still think it works
that way, we cats know better). Anyway, I did like them, so I
displayed myself at my best. Just finished cleaning my fur, so I
looked sooooo nice.
I went with them to their home, you never guess what I saw? A
DOG!!
I did get used to that unmannerly, hairy, noisy animal, but he
was so stupid. He came to me again and again, he did not
understand I was not pleased with it at all. **sigh**
I simply did not like that sniffing at certain parts of my body!!
I scratched him several times, and after a few months he
understood -a little-! (what can you possibly expect of a dog??)
But now I do not have to deal with him anymore. He died in March
'99.
But the family is nice. At night I choose one of the bedrooms
where I want to sleep and allow them to sleep with me, and I get
the food I like (didn't eat all the other stuff until I got what
I wanted) and there is always a victim who wants to have painful
legs because I am sitting on his/her lap.
But you never guess what they did after a few months ...
Had all the attention for myself, and now I have to share that
with two guinea pigs!! They came here in the house without MY
purrmission!
The eldest (Ginny) did not react at all when she saw me, that was no fun!
But the youngest (Gompie) ran around like crazy when I sat on top of the
cage, BIG fun!! I just want to play a little! After a while he got used to me, and did not ran anymore, too bad!
But the piggies are rather funny I think, and I thought it was nice to be friends (and that is an HONOUR!).
Ginny died on June 5th, and what did they do??? Yes, they bought a new one! A little guinea pig, they called her Moppie,
she was 8 weeks old when she came.
And she ran like crazy when I came to have a look at her, but when I put my paws in the cage to tease a little, that big
Gompie came and sat in front of her!
Gompie also died, during the vacation in 2000, and you can guess what happened. Sure, why not, another guinea pig!! This
time al little girl and they named her Sweetie. She was an active little thing, always jumping and running around, and not
scared at all! (I kinda liked her, don't tell anyone I told you this!)
And after a while Moppie died, you must think "they bought a new one??" No, even worse, they bought TWO!! And guess what,
one of the two was pregnant and had a little baby. Well, this is too much for me, I will do just if they are not here!
In March the family moved from their house to an appartment on
the 5th floor. So no more garden for me to run around, catch birds
and mice. That made me very sad. But they played a lot with me,
throwing little things, they even bought me a fake mouse (??). I did get used to the new situation, a little. But I
was very very happy when we moved to a house again after 2 years! I still did know how to climb in trees, how to catch
a mouse or bird. I lost some weight too! Oh, I love to be in the garden! But I do not like the cat of the neighbours, I
always fight with him! Such a silly name he has: Mister Jansen! Boy, did I laugh at him about his name!
There is something like cat language. But I guess you poor people
do not understand at all?!
Well, just to help you a little bit, here is a cat dictionary, go and read that, and learn something
useful on this internet thing!
And if you understand this, you must know the rules. You can read the
catrules here.
Oops, almost forgot a very important message: There are some
pictures of me you can look at (and I strongly suggest you do
that, because I am soooo prrrretty!!). I guess there will be more
pictures of me, and they better do, otherwise I will go and
scratch the chairs to pieces =^:^= (already made a start *G*)
Take a look at my adorable pictures!!!
Purrrrrrrry greetings:
Pollie
Oh, by the way, a little update: the chairs were completely destroyed by me, GRRRRIN. They bought a new dining table,
with new chairs. Hm, shall I .......??
