Mystery McQuate Photos
The photo below was sent to me by Gary McQuade. Handwritten on the front is the name Harry McQuaide. On the back, the handwriting says "Ludell McQuaide -- age five years." Gary and I agree that the photo was probably taken in the very early 1900s. I'm not sure of the geographical location, but I'm guessing midwest -- Indiana, Michigan, Illinois. If so, the precious little boy in the photo may be a descendant of the Kentucky McQuades -- Milton McQuade, son of James, grandson of Henry, moved from Kentucky to Indiana sometime before 1850. Sorry for all the guesswork here, but we're looking for some additional information so we can eliminate the guesses. Any help will be appreciated.
