The New Hope Cafe presents an opportunity for those with God given talent to

February 9 th. ......... Jim Winder

The past 5 years, Jim has concentrated on writing Christian songs which were

compiled into his first CD entitled, "Growing Up." Jim's latest project is

"The Hard But Right Way - A Pilgrim's Journey" which is based on the timeless

story, "Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan." Jim has performed at various

coffeehouses, churches, and for special events in the past. He travels with

his fellow musicians, Randy Thomas and Jim Oakley.

February 16 th. ........ Sheppard's Child

This three piece band is from the Bronx, New York. It has three very talented

musicians, playing guitar, drums and bass guitar. They play their original

Christian songs, in a solid rock style. Their songs go deep into the

Christian message. One thing for sure, they will have you up and on your

feet dancing and clapping to the beat of their music. This will be there

first full concert at the New Hope Cafe. Don't miss it and tell your friends

to come also!

February 23 rd. ....... Nina Gonzalez

Nina is a new and upcoming, Christian contemporary gospel singer. With her

unique voice and singing style, she has impressed those that heard her. She

ministered at our "Open Mike Night" at the New Hope Cafe. Pastor James

Burrus, was given a prophecy, "that God was going to use her voice in a

mighty way." This will be the first full concert that she will perform

towards that mission. Lets encourage her, by bringing a friend or a family

member with you. They will be glad they came.

March 9 th. .... New Vision Band (Band)

Luis and Moises Vasquez with Aramis Ortez, from Arverne, NY, have put their

song writing skills to the test, to bring Gospel, through music in their own

special way. Using all different styles of music to get their message of Gods

love across to everyone. They are using a wide variety of styles including

Jazz, Rap, Hip-Hop, Rock and easy listening music. Their newly Released CD

titled, "Te Doy Gracias" will be available to purchase this night.

March 16 th. ........... Crossfire Band

Crossfire, from Long Island, NY has performed live at various churches,

coffee houses and Christian Music festivals throughout the Tri-State area.

They appeal to a diverse audience that responds to there music. God has also

given them the gift of laughter. Crossfire is Barbara Grace on Keyboards and

Vocals, Matt Riley on Guitar, Mandolin and Vocals, and Bill Smith on Bass

Guitar and Percussion. The first Crossfire cd combines live and studio

recordings and will be available in early 2002. The band has also started

work on an all studio cd for the Christian label "Resolve" that should be

ready by the summer of 2002.

March 23 rd. .......... Antonelli & McKoy

Diane McKoy. McKoy, is the founder of the Singing Conquerors (NYC's 1st &

only Bluegrass Gospel band). Diane continues her vision with an additional

Gospel Music genre called Country Gospel Music!!! Together with Steven

Antonelli, McKoy wants to bring Country Gospel Music to NYC. Diane has

performed Bluegrass Gospel with the Singing Conquerors at numerous Christian

cafes, the White House, National TV, major festivals, etc.; Steven

Antonelli like McKoy, shares the same passion for Country Gospel and

Bluegrass Gospel. He's a member of the New York Mandolin Quartet, Steven is

an experienced performer (singer, guitarist, mandolinist); and composer. They

say, "Country Gospel Music is here in NYC at last".

March 30 th. ........ Henry "O" & Christine

Henry is a very talented singer/songwriter/musician. His ministry is from the

Bronx, NY. Henry "O", plays Acoustic guitar. He will be singing mostly

worship and praise music, that he has written. Henry will be joined by

Christine Venditto a outstanding vocalist in her own right. Chris & Henry

have sung in Scotland & Liverpool England, also in local churches,

coffeehouses, special events or wherever God opens the door. If you enjoy

praising the Lord, don't miss this night.
