SAVORY CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP
Combine all the ingredients EXCEPT the chicken in a large pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat; simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Discard the bay leaf. Stir in the chicken. Simmer for 5 minutes longer, stirring occasionally. (approx. 8 servings)

I changed the following recipe to using a 9X13 pan OATMEAL BARS
and it turned out like CAKE, instead of bars, and it was SUPER!!!
Just increased the cooking time to closer to 35 minutes.
Following is the recipe as it was in a local cookbook:
Pour boiling water over oatmeal. Let cool. Cream the margarine, sugars, and eggs and add cooled oatmeal. Add remaining ingredients. Mix. Bake at 350 in a greased 13X15 pan, 20 to 25 minutes or until bars spring back.
Mix ingredients in saucepan. Cook slowly for 10 minutes. Pour over slightly warm bars. (I used the microwave. 1 minute on high, stirred; 5 minutes on medium, stirred; 5 more minutes on medium, stirred; done.) She noted that these bars freeze very well.

Boil and strain hamburger (I found the thought of "boiling" hamburger a bit odd at first, but it gets all the fat out and tastes just fine!)
Mix the rest of the ingredients together. Add hamburger.
I simmer this in a crock pot. It is great for Pot Lucks because it can simmer all day!
Serve with grated cheese, taco chips, and sour cream if desired.

Place round steak in a buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle dry onion soup mix over the top. Cover it with the cream soup. (This looks "dry" but it works!)
You can add about a 1/2 can of water to make more gravy.
Cover and bake at 350 for 2 to 3 hours.
This makes a delicious gravy. Serve over potatoes or noodles.

Mix water, pudding and Jello mixes together. Bring to a boil in saucepan or in microwave.
Remove from heat and cool. Add Cool Whip and mandarin oranges. Chill in refrigerator.

My Husband's Favorite!
This is MUCH cheaper than the boxed kind,
and tastes the SAME!
Mix ingredients together and beat with electric mixer until it stands in peaks. Jason loves this on German Chocolate cake.

Combine cream cheese and powdered sugar in a bowl. Using an electric mixer, beat until smooth and creamy. Fold in dessert topping. Set aside. Combine pudding and milk in another bowl and beat with mixer until thickened. Fold pudding and 1/3 of crushed cookies into cream cheese mixture until mixed thoroughly. Press half the remaining cookies into bottom of a clear serving bowl. Add pudding mixture. Sprinkle remaining crushed cookies over the top. CHILL until ready to serve. This dessert is a nice looking dessert for a pot luck or supper for company -- and MMMMM, so GOOD!
I like this site because you can enter an ingredient you want to use up
Who doesn't like CHOCOLATE! LOTS of recipes!!! Find recipes to make things very similar to the restaurants, like: Red Lobster Cheese Biscuits, Chi Chi's Mild Salsa, Ponderosa's Steak Sauce, etc.
Need I say more?
and it will show you a list of recipes you can make with it.
You can also tell it how many you want it to serve and it adjusts the ingredients! NEAT!
