Question:Any great ideas for the 100s of pins traded at conventions. I am almost done with my renovated stamp room and I need an idea to get those pins out of the box and onto the walls! The hubby hates the idea of taking off the pin backs and super gluing them to the wall!

A great way to display pins is to make a banner of gro-grain ribbon with a small macrame ring at the top. The ribblon can be your choice of colors and widths. Just fold the top of the ribbon over the ring and stitch or use a fabric glue. Sure beats super glue to the wall!!!

I have a four panel screen. You know one of those room divider like things made with wood where if you zig zag the panels it stands - sorry, I'm drawing a blank for what they are called. It is made of wood and there is fabric in the middle of each panel. I figured the pins would look great on that.

I found 2 of those canvas banners marked down at Hobby Lobby last week and that's what I'm displaying mine on. I also thought you could make a banner from felt and hot glue a dowel to the top and display them that way. It's really cool to see all you've collected right out in front of you. I've decided to display my cards from swaps this way too.

One year I took about 1/2 yard of burlap, folded the top over and sewed to make a small rod pocket. Insert dowel rod in pocket, tie a length of cord onto each end of dowel rod. Pin the convention pins all over front of this and hang. Or use any cloth. I have also used an old baby blanket and just push pins instead of sewing. The pins are all light enough to do this also. How about one of the large pieces of plastic canvas? pin on the pins ( boy does that sound wierd! ) Frame it when done. Just my ideas. I'm sure there are more ways to display these.

Thanks for the suggestions on the pins. Between your ideas on the list and the stamp night I am going to buy fabric to match my curtains and make a banner with the dowel rods. Should be great.
