MY TESTIMONY

I lay there so helpless

On others I had to rely.

I couldn't move a muscle

And didn't want to try.

I got depressed so easy

And didn't want to live.

I thought I was a burden

And I had aught to give.

But then, I let God in.

He brightened up my life.

I recognized His blessings,

My son, my family, my wife.

I thanked Him oh so kindly

For all He'd done for me.

I thanked Him for life and

The things He'd let me see.

Soon, my life was renewed

As on God I put my trust.

I felt I CAN be useful!

My life can have a thrust!

We all have our blessings,

We've but to recognize,

They come from God's goodness

.......To them that humbly tries.
