SWEET  POTATO CASSEROLE

     2 large sweet potatoes (can use the canned ones)
   
   Boil until tender. (You should have about 1 quart.)
        Mash with a potato masher.
   
1 cup butter (or margarine)
     2 eggs
     1/3 cup evaporated milk
     3/4 cup sugar
     1 teaspoon vanilla

     Mix all (I use the mixer) and place in a
     medium-sized,  oven-proof  dish.  Make topping.........

    
TOPPING:
      1 cup brown sugar
      1/2 cup flour
      1/3 cup melted butter
      1/2 cup chopped pecans

      Sprinkle topping over potatoes.  Bake at 350
      degrees for 45 minutes.
