I have been able to go back as far as my great-grandfather, William Borchardt-b.7/26/1868 - d.2/19/1933. He was born in Helenville, WI which is in Jefferson County. His parents came over from Germany. But I currently have no further information as even o what part of the county. I know that they lost a couple of children on the boat ride over seas. My family has mainly lived in the Midwest, southern Wisconsin area.

I entered one before and there was a name error. Timothy Rowley's first wife's name was Jemima dibble, his second wife's name was either Naomi (Neomy) Rute (Root). A large part of his family relocated to Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Dakota's an even Iowa. With one going on the the Pacific coast. I'm looking for long lost cousins. His son was John Sanford Rowley, Sr., and John's son was John Sanford Rowley, Jr. I recently sent the tree to Tedd Rowley. But I am hoping someone will see this and elp me out. Thanks, Jackie

My mothers father was Robert Borchardt, from Lancaster co. PA. I am just starting to get into this, and came across your site from the Family Tree maker.
