Just began researching this line for my aunt. Her husband is a Doan, but knows nothing of his heritage. His grandfather was Andrew Doan b. 10/18/1893in West Virginia, we believe, but that is not confirmed yet. The only thing we know for sure is his fat er's name was Lewis Doan b. 1/13/1913 and Bourbonville KY played a big part in his life. He ran moonshine from WV to KY and met his wife, Mary Gray in KY.
