A patriotic call to my dear American fellowcountrymen and women, whose Puritan forefathers planted on Plymouth Rock the corner stone of the grandest and most enlightened Republic in the' world: Never to let the Roman Catholic so called Knights of Columbus (a league of Papists vowed to make America Catholic., They had nearly succeeded before the war of nations began, to deluge the world in blood).

Oh, my country! Awake from slumber
Hasten, ere it be too late!
See the enemy without number
Enter each unguarded gate!
Shall it be for want of action
That the foe invade our home,
And to please a party faction
Take us back to Pagan Rome?
America, long a Christian nation
Thou, hast stood before the world;
Rise, and take thy proper station!
With the Flag of Faith unfurled!
Rise! Ne'er, let these traitorous teachers,
With their lies corrupt our youth!
Rise, and help the honest preachers
Who stand up for God and Truth.
Shall the Faith our Fathers cherished,
And for which the martyrs died,
When by scores they bravely perished,
In the fiery furnace tried?
Shall the Faith, which e'en the fire
Could not quench, nor sword put down!,
In these latter days expire?
Shall we dread that Faith to own?
No! the lamp of Faith martyrs lighted
Never shall go out again!
And the Word of God, though slighted,
Shall its Truth and power maintain!
Rise! and fight for our religion!
Never, oh, never, deny our Lord!
Like Him, heeding not derision,
Strong in His Almighty Word.
Now., arouse thee from thy sleeping;
Drive the Jesuit traitors out!
That where now is sound of weeping
May be heard a joyful shout!
Rise, and stand upon thy Tower!
Gird thee ready for the fight!
Trusting not in earthly Power
But in God, who helps the Right!
'Tis time to be up and doing,
Hearken to the Nation's cry?
Our country's ruin Popes are brewing
Protestantism they vow shall die
Our Pilgrim 'Fathers on Plymouth Rock
Planted the tree of Liberty;
Foundation for a Puritan stock
And a Republic, great and free!
Arise from sleep! Our foes are Awake!
And Error stalks through this fair land,
Freedom of Press and speech are at stake.
Defend Truth Papal Bondage with-stand.
A free people should be On guard
'Gainst a Church that tortures and kills
Patriot preachers, whose great reward
As martyrs of Christ whose blood Rome spills.
Thee Menace was first to sound the cry--
Save, oh have our Public school
From the Roman Thugs, that all laws defy
Except the brutal Papal rule--
Papal Knights, of Columbus, in Arms,
'Gainst the patriots' leaders brave;
Who boldly raised the alarm
To the Nation, our free schools to save!
Shall a great People, so free and brave
To cruel tyrants bend the knee?
Not while the Stars and Stripes doth wave
Over our Public Schools great and free.
And the Free Press doth the tocsin sound
To warn the country far and wide,
To rouse the nation from sleep Profound,
And stem the fatal pagan tide.
