Maude Mabel SMITH was born 11 October 1906 in Elida, Roosevelt Co, New Mexico to William Joseph SMITH and Olive Aurelia TAYLOR. On 16 April 1924 she was married to Oscar Nels SWALANDER in Newkirk, Kay Co, Oklahoma.
Maude and Oscar had the following children:

Evelyn Mae SWALANDER
Edwin Oscar SWALANDER
Janet Aurelia SWALANDER
Maude died on 9 April 1988 in Yelm, Thurston Co, Washington after a long struggle with breast cancer. She was buried in Woodbine Cemetery, Puyallup, Pierce Co, Washington.
