The supporting material behind this face sheet consists of draft sheets made by the clerk in the Alispán’s (Vice Lord Lieutenant’s) office. After their contents had been checked, accepted and signed by the Alispán, and its release authorised, a clear copy would have been made on 23 March 1914, eiher on typewriter or more than likely, by hand ( the year being 1914 ) and forwarded to the applicant, in this instance to Mr. Andor Csiba , sheriff (#73), on 26 March 1914 and should be found among the documents of his estate.

also, petitioned me to issue Letter of Certification regarding their nobility.

After having have found his request to be a legitimate one, I testify in name of the people of the County of Pozsony that, the applicant has proven, with valid documentation, his legitimate and direct decendancy from that János Csiba de Nagyabony whose longstanding nobility was verified according to the law, through the testimony of the relating official records of the 1755-57 inquiry.

The son József of the afforesaid János who, according to the submitted Certificate of Marriage married

Anna Sántha at Szered on 21 April 1771, was included in the official survey of nobility held in Tejfalu in

the year 1790; according to a document dated 23 August 1822, that was presented in its original form,

and

5259/94 validated, in line with the custom of earlier days, in view of a ranking individual, from that

marriage was born Dávid Csiba in Tejfalu; whose son Orbán (Alajos-Orbán) born by his wife Veronika Nogl ,has descended.

From the this Orbán’s wife, Elenora Molnár, bore a son in Somorja on 3 August 1850, named

Lajos , whose son by his wife Erzsébet Deizler is the presently applying Andor, further Sándor born in Tejfalu on 7 December 1891 and their youngest brother Lajos.

In our official records, among the applicants’ above named ancestors, can be found Dávid in the year1809 (page 260, in Alsónyárasd), later in the year 1823 (940. Item a), the year 1828, the years 1832 az well as1840

and Orbán in the year 1840.

As the applicants’ forefathers were, without any doubt, Hungarian nobles, the privileges flowing from the rights of the Hungarian nobles, are the rights of these people.

Finally I testify that, the applicants, according to evidence offered by the minutes of examination of the

nobles, being descendants of the old noble family of our county, the Csiba Family of Nagy Abony,

they, just as their forefathers, hold the privilege to the use the forename " de Nagy Abony".
