| "The Hotel Quilt" - This is the very first quilt piece I made. It is a 48" Mexican Star. The intersting thing about this quilt is that it was created during a 30 day hotel stay. My husband had started a new job in Seattle, Washington. Our home was not ready to be occupied. So my husband went to work, our daughter went off to school. This left me, our dog Sam, and our cat Ginger, with a lot of time on our hands. So I decided to teach myself to quilt. You see the results. |
