SOUR CREAM BISCUITS WITH CHEESE

2 cups self-raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
4 tbsp shortening
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup grated romano cheese

Preheat oven at 425 F.
In food processor mix for no longer than 3-4 seconds flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and shortening.
Transfer to a large bowl, add cheese and buttermilk and mix with a fork.
Transfer to a floured board and roll to about 1/2" thick.
Cut rounds with a cookie cutter and place on a buttered cookie sheet.
Bake at 425 F for 15-20 minutes.
Serve warm.
