"I don't know to much about Robert Davidson & care less the way he done my
grandmother. I've been told he married again after they divorced & had a
son by name of Eddie. His mother burnt up in K.C. had a brother by name of
Sherman who did have some children living there. He also had a sister by
name of Ellen_________. Uncle Ben found that out. My dad found out he was
dead & buried in North Platte, Nebr. before he moved here from K.C. Kans.
in 1908."
I do believe they are the same person. You previously had information from
the 1880 census of North Platte, Lincoln County, NE that showed both of his
parents were born in Pennsylvania. From his marriage record, you also
showed that his father's name was William, and his mother's name was
Margaret. The 1880 Census of Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri shows
Margaret Davidson, 59, b. PA and a son, Sherman, 16, b. WV.
I found the family living in Clay, Marshall County, WV in the 1870 census,
M593_1693, pg 389a. They are listed as follows:
Davidson, William, 60, Farm Laborer, b. Pennsylvania
Margaret, 47, Keeping House, b. Ohio
Harriet, 15, at home, b. Pennsylvania
Benjamin, 13, at home, b. Pennsylvania
Cynthia E., 11, at home, b. Pennsylvania
Jacob W., 9, at home, b. West Virginia
John R., 9, at home, b. West Virginia
Sherman, 6, at home, b. West Virginia
Robert, 18, at home, b. Pennsylvania

There's no 1910 Soundex for Utah, but in 1920, I found William R with wife
Jeanette and children Jeanette, William and Robert. There an intial before
the daughter Jeanette's name. To me it looked like a "D", to the Soundex
people it was an "S", and you have her first name as Lillis. Whatever. I did
NOT find a Mary Wynn in Utah in 1920, or a Mary Davidson. Maybe she was still
in Nebraska. I ran out of time and didn't search there in 1920.
Also, in 1900 Utah I found a John R Davidson in Davis County (didn't look up
census page) who was born in WVA in 3/67, which is close to one of the twins
but may not be. It's off by about 6 years.
In the 1920 census, Mary A. Wynn was a widow living alone in Denver,
Denver County, CO, Roll T625_159, ED 100, page 4B. She was 62 and b. in
Germany as were her parents. She was working as a laborer doing house
work.
