He then accepted the position of President and General Manager of the Bonner Springs Federal Credit Union in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Prior to this appointment he had served as one of the Board of Directors for over 20 years, as Secretary, Vice President and finally as its CEO. He brought his Wife of 45 years with him to work and serve as bookkeeper and then head bookkeeper. After serving 10 years together they both retired permanently in May of 1995.
Roy and Nadine were married February 18, 1950 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kansas City, Kansas. Three Children were born to this union. Gene L. Davidson, Kenneth W. Davidson and JoAnne N. Davidson.
Their hobbies are crafts, woodworking, gardening, water gardening, and genealogy. Traveling is also an important part of their lives and both have been from coast to coast north and south, east and west, Canada and Mexico. They have toured four of the Hawaiian Islands and went back to the Island of Oahu for a second visit.
They now have six Grandchildren and all are growing up fast, ages 12 years to 22 years. They really enjoy the sports that all are involved in and play especially bowling, baseball and basketball.
The highlight of this year 1997, was the graduation of their Granddaughter from the University of Kansas for the degree of Bachelor of General Studies in Human Development and Family Life on May 18, 1997.
