The AuSable River Valley Historical Society. This publication has a wealth of historical information and a limited amount of genealogical data on early residents.

I have a nearly complete set of the "Wilderness Chronicle."
These materials were published by Nelson Yoder in Comins, MI and dedicated to preserving historical information on the area. There are articles on almost every facet of pioneer and lumbermens lives.
The materials contained in them cover most of northeastern Michigan, primarily Alcona, Alpena, Iosco, Ogemaw, Oscoda and Montmorency counties.

I would be willing to do look-ups in these publications.

Oscoda County History
I do "look-ups" from 3 Volumes called The History of Northern Michigan and It's People by Perry F. Powers pub. in 1912. The volumes mainly contain Biographies of Men (only one or two women) who were prominent in their communities in the mid to late 1800's. I don't have access to birth, death, marriage or cemetery listings.

I have a copy of "French Families of the Detroit River Region". This has wonderful information on families throughout the entire Michigan area.
