     called "Walnut Hill" near Red House, Charlotte County, VA. Paulus is buried in the now 
     overgrown Wheeler / Jennings family burial ground near Red House, VA. He may have been a
     Capt. in the CSA.

          Alvah: owned Ayres Natural Bridge land near Douglas, Converse, Wyoming and his 
          son gave the land to Wyoming. Ranched on the LaPrele; 1865 WY Pioneer; "The Douglas 
          Budget", 15 Aug 1918 - killed 4 miles west of Douglas when a car frightened the team 
          he was driving and they ran away and threw him from the wagon. He was the son of 
          James L. and Patience Ayres.
