Our home is located 3 miles west of Buena Vista, Colorado. Cottonwood Creek is 40' to the right from the back of the deck. The enclosed area to the back right of the picture contains an additional 20' privacy deck. Jeannette and Monte did not want rice thrown, so they had their guests blow bubbles.
We have occasionally had a bear on the back porch and deer regularly bed down on the grass. Recently, one of the deer was killed by a mountain lion in the back yard. Hummingbirds are regular visitors to our home.
