Meeting Evaluation |

The last portion of a Toastmasters meeting is the meeting evaluation portion, led by the General Evaluator. Clubs have a variety of ways of conducting the evaluation portion of the meeting, but in general, it will include the following parts.
The General Evaluator delivers a brief speech, discussing what went well at the meeting and what could have been improved. For example, this might include some of the following points:
- Did the meeting have a smooth flow, no awkward pauses?
- Did everybody know what to do (Table Topics Master, Timer, etc.)?
- Were guests introduced and made to feel welcome? Were they given a chance to participate?
- Did the meeting start on time and remain on schedule?
- Were introductions handled appropriately?
- Were there explanations of "why" we do things? (For example ... Why do we have Table Topics? Why do we clap? Why do we time people? Why do we listen for ah's?)
- Was the meeting fun?
The General Evaluator calls on the individual speech evaluators - one per speaker.
The General Evaluator calls on each of the following members, for their reports - Timer, Word Master, Grammarian and Ah Counter.
