I am starting a Cardio Database, which when done, the information on numberous iheritance pattern occurances, if found to be the case, will be available to the public upon written request. The idea of this project is to see if there are Inheritance Patterns in Different lines, and amount of incidences and Ages! This will be strickly for educational purposes only. |
What I am requesting is, that those who have had their dogs diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy by a Licensed Veterinarian or Cardiologist, and lost them from Cardio, or are still living diagnosed, to PLEASE, send me the pedigree of the dog. Write me for the address and information on this project. Thank you... I hope this will help in the quest to rid the breed of Cardio...as it is very devastating to our Breed! Everyones participation, Breeders as well and owners will help, and Donations to Research is very much needed! |
The pedigrees are being collected for research and educational purposes Only! The researchers don't even know how this disease is passed from generation to generation, I AM NOT making ANY statements regarding the likelihood of cardio in any particular breeding, or any Specific Breeders. (REST BE ASSURED...THAT NO PARTICULAR DOG OR PERSONS NAME WILL EVER BE LET OUT, THIS IS STRICKLY FOR INHERITANCE PATTERN RESEARCH. THIS WILL BE STRICKLY CONFIDENTIAL! I hope that Dr. Venta's research will clear this up soon, but it is hoped that the pedigree research may show patterns that might give some insight on the Inheritance Patterns. |
I know there are MANY Dogs out there that Have DIED from CARDIO, I have answered many sad letters! BUT...it seems that those Many Owners are not wanting to HELP with this Most Worthy Project, The Pedigree's and Forms are Coming in very slowly! How do all expect to be helped with this dreaded disease if all dont participate? PLEASE....donate to this project to help our Dear Friends and Their Owners! Everyones Participation is Needed for this to work! |
