North America has two kinds of eagles, the bald eagle (pictured here) and the golden eagle.

The bald eagle is the emblem of the United States of America and the golden eagle is the national bird of Mexico.

Eagles catch fish to eat. They build their nests in high places and return to the same nesting area every year.
