Caroline Herrick was born at Towanda, PA, March 9, 1826. She was the youngest daughter of Ebenezer and Phoebe Lamb Herrick. She married William Johnson and they moved to Adams County, NE in 1876. They were the parents of 8 children. Mrs. Johnson died January 23, 1916, at Hastings, NE. Niobrara Chapter marked the grave site on December 1, 1925.
