Susannah Loose Sloniker

Margaret Holmes Chapter, Seward, NE, unvailed the first Real Daughter marker in Nebraska on the grave of Susannah Loose Sloniker, on June 14, 1908. In 1868, she came to Seward County to be with her children. She died May 16, 1877 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thurman, one mile north of Seward. She married Daniel Sloniker who died March 27, 1844. They were parents of nine children. She was the grandmother of three charter members of the Margaret Holmes chapter.
