Poems for JonBenet written by Brei-ann and Rachel

Justice For JonBenet

It cuts me up inside to think that you had to die,
Because of all the lies that I hold inside,
You are one of a kind,
Your the twinkle in my eyes,
Your my pride and joy,
All it took was one thing to make the world go insane,
And make my tears fall like rain,
And there is none to blame,
So everyone plays along with this game,
But our enemies still win,
And all my hopes blow away with the wind,
The sorrow and pain left you behind,
Even though you are kind,
And it takes a while to unwind,
And there is a lot of time,
But nothing is going right,
No one heard your cries that one night,
So you had no choice but to turn around and wave GoodBye,
Oh, JonBenet where ever you are,
Let the lord embrace you,
Because someday we will all be with you.

Little JonBenet

My heart aches for the little girl known as JonBenet who trusted us with
her life and someone took her away by surprise and know she is gone
cause someone did something wrong ,

In my heart she did not go away cause I hold the memory of little
JonBenet and I tell myself that in away it is good that she went away
to get away from all the evil that lives today but no matter how hard
life seems to be the death of this little girl made me lose my dignity,

Evil claimed the innocence of little JonBenet and rested it self upon
the pain that surrounds her little unmarked grave this is not a game
little JonBenet had to take the blame I just don't understand why she
had to die it made everyone cry ,

When I look up into the sky I see JonBenet's little smile and wide open
eyes and I know her kindness is looking down and saying to us go on
living cause in our hearts, hopes and dreams she is living free,

Our pain simply cannot last cause life goes bye fast after all were here
for a reason we need to go on living and put all our fears away and we
cannot live in hiding cause we are not not to blame,

Rest in peace JonBenet cause love is sent your way we will never forget
you cause in our hearts you are there to stay and guide us along the
way.

Death of a little Angel

JonBenet is here,
Nineteen ninety is the year.
A little girl full of love,
Sent down here from up above.
She was growing up perky,
With big brother Burke.
Of all the things they had,
They loved their mom and dad.
John and Patsy Ramsey,
They were pretty fancy.
They lived in a mansion,
To their satisfaction.
JonBenet lived a dream,
She was a Beauty Queen.
That's not all that she did,
At heart she was a kid.
Years came and went,
Memories well spent.
It's that time of year,
Christmas is here.
They went to bed without any fear,
But someone seemed to be near.
To her room the murderer crept,
Knowing it was were she slept.
It could have been someone she knew,
We may never know who.
The moon fell slowly,
And silence seemed to be flowing.
Hidden from the snow,
Killed by that fatal blow.
Layed upon the ground,
Not knowing if she'd be found.
The night drifted away,
And the sun took its place.
Patsy awoke early that morning,
And without any warning.
The ransom note she found,
Not upon the ground.
On the stairs it lay,
With whereabouts of JonBenet.
Patsy found herself in tears,
Cause JonBenet wasn't near.
John called the police,
Not knowing if he'd be pleased.
In the cellar cold and gray,
Lay the lifeless body of JonBenet.
By her father she was found,
Layed upon the ground.
Their were no witnesses,
But reporters were with this.
All that we knew,
Was what we heard on the news.
John and Patsy were in a fix,
Cause JonBenet was only six.
Of all the memories that she had,
She left behind her mom and dad.
To Burke we hope and pray,
That he'll get over her someday.
We know that he will miss her,
For she was his little sister.
No one got to say goodbye,
To this day we wonder why.
In her coffin she does lay,
The little beauty JonBenet.
In her coffin cold and still,
Held in against her will.
She had a lot of dreams,
The little Beauty Queen.
Not a day goes by,
Without her in our minds.
Even though she is gone,
Her memory still lives on.
As she lays in her unmarked grave,
She holds the secret and to this day,
Her story remains the same.
