JonBenet it has been two years since you went away
And we miss you just as much today
For you touched more lives in just 6 years
than most of us ever will
And your leaving has left a void we just cannot fill
I hear your voice it's the Christmas songs I hear
And can not help but wish That you were still here
Dear Lord would you please grant this Christmas wish for me
Watch over this special angel for all eternity

And Little angel could you grant just one Christmas wish for me
For it would mean far more than any gift beneath the christmas tree
Could you send to us a sign of what happened on that date
Why someone so very special should end up with your fate
Relieve some of the burden on those who love you so
For it is one thing we really need to know

May God bless you little Angel with the sparkling eyes
And pesonality that glowed and reached the very skies
May your smile brighten heaven for all eternity
And may you know there are millions just like me
who wish you a very merry Christmas.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
LITTLE ANGEL JONBENET

It has become ever so clear
1990 was a special year
and Aug 6 a very special day
for the gates of heaven opened that day
and the Lord sent a special angel our way
Jonbenet
and now I must try so hard to be good
for I want to meet this little angel
when I leave this world

I saw innocence and love in the eyes of this little girl
hope and trust and a heart so pure
An angel with eyes sparkling so bright
that it broke my heart when I heard of her plight
if all the tears in my heart
would reach my eyes
and fall upon the ground
all of Alabama would surely drown
did el ninos wind cause all the rain to fall from the skies
or is tears from all the angels eyes
she had a smile that would chase your cares away
and light your way on the darkest day
you possessed a magic to make the world care
and how I wish little angel that you were still here
for your beautiful voice still rings in my heart
and all of the love that you did impart
I know dear Lord you sent her here from up above
for she would sprinkle her star dust and fill us with love
little angel in heaven now please here what we say
for you have so many friends here that want to send your way
all of our love and a HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

I sit by your grave and watch the sun sparkle on the early morning dew
It reminds me of the sparkle in your eyes as I sit and think of you
Do I hear the music of star dust falling on my ear
Is it just the Robins song or your lilting voice I hear
I know your in a special place with ones who love you dear
But I can't help but miss you and wish that you were still here
I wish I could give you an easter basket and talk with you awhile
For it would mean so very much just to see you smile
So I will build a special basket and fill it up with love
And beg the Lord to give it to you in your mansion up above
I will fill it up with love from your friends from here and far across the sea
but most of all from Carol Anne, Giovanni and me

I came by your grave to talk to you, I came to say goodbye
Instead I cry and wonder why
And beg the Lord, please tell me, why this Angel had to die

Like a blossom picked far too early with never a chance to bloom
Little Angel you were so special and you left us far to soon
And your memory will always haunt us somewhat like a favorite tune

I beg the Lord for answers as I gaze up in the sky
And I feel the words of a million prayers as they come drifting by
For they all still love and miss you, little angel with the sparkling eyes

I hear the songs of a million poets from all around the world
For you touched us all so deeply you were a special girl
You will never be forgotten of this you can be sure

To join us all together was that your destiny
To start a little spark of love to last through all eternity
For you are a Special Angel that is not hard to see

Lord I know your wisdom is great and your grace divine
I beg you Lord watch over her until the end of time

Please tell me dear Lord why this little angel had to go away
For there was so much she still wanted to do and say
This very beautiful little Angel Jon Benet

She brought so much joy and pride to her dad and her mom
And her beauty was like a rainbow that came out of a storm
Far more delicate and beautiful than a rose blossom

Dear Lord please send her this message from here below
For it is somethig she really needs to know
Tell her we all still love her and how we miss her so

She traveled life's highways for such a short while
And brighten our way with her radiant smile
Please could you let her walk with us Lord just one more mile

If we could get a message from this Angel Jon Benet
If she could tell us but one thing today
I have no doubt this is what she would say

Tell your children you love them, tell them every single day
Hug them and hold them before you send them to play
For sometimes we don't return when we go away

The skies seem so much grayer without you near
The nights so much darker and filled with fear
For you were so special and we loved you so dear

Please watch over her dear Lord for all eternity and a day
For she danced and smiled and stole our hearts away
And I know heaven is so much brighter now that she's come your way

We trust in you Lord so we'll entrust her to you
But is the very hardest thing we ever had to do
Please guide and watch her and comfort her too

You took this angel so early Lord and I must wait
But when my time comes I'll not hesitate
For I know there is a special angel there to open the gate

Little Children

Little children should not have to pay
The price for all the games we play
We should not steal their smiles away

The Lord smiled on us one day
and sent a special little angel our way
A very special angel Jonbent

Like a candle shing bright
who brightened our days with her light
That she's gone is just not right

So beautiful and fragile like a fine china doll
She sang and danced and won the hearts of us all
Would someday have been the queen of the ball

Some one put out this candle shining so bright
brought pain and terror into the night
Some one who knew that it was not right

For how the Angels cried
The night she died
Someone will be hurting deep inside

She was so beautiful innocent and pure
and of this I'm sure

There is no one more evil or vile
Than some one who would harm and innocent child

For you may laugh and you may smile
You may not admit it for a long long while
But you cannot forever conceal your guile

For you will fall into that bottomles well
That will take you straight to the depths of hell
And you will be there for a long long while

And all of your being is surrounded in flame
Will you then accept the blame
Will you finally be filled with shame

You had better drop down on your knees to pray
Beg the Lord for forgiveness every day
And call upon the angel Jonbenet

For I know that Jesus can forgive you still
