Linda Medley is the artist/writer
of the illustrated story
Castle Waiting, a retelling of classic fairytales that asks the question, "What happens after 'happily ever after'?"
Linda has won the prestigious
Xeric Foundation
grant award, was a finalist in the 1997
Eisner awards, which are voted on by professionals in the
comic book industry, and in 1998 won two Eisners for her work! In 1997 and 1998 she visited various cities across the country with the Trilogy Tour, a group of award-winning comic artists. In 1999 she went on hiatus from Castle Waiting to work on the Vertigo title Books of Fairie, but returned and is back in production on Castle Waiting again.
