As you can tell by my other pages I love quotes. But, the ones you see on my pages weren't always there. I switch the quotes around when I get tired of them. I used to just delete them, but I thought I should save them so everyone can read all the great quotes people have said. I also included some I just like that weren't on any of my pages. Read and listen with your heart.

by Charles Swindoll
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on one string we have, and that is our attitude... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.

One of the signs of passing youth is the birth of a sense of fellowship with other human beings as we take our place among them.

Life itself is a race, marked by a start, and a finish.
It is what we learn during the race,
and how we apply it, that determines whether
our participation has had a particular value.
If we learn from each success, and each failure, and
improve ourselves through the process, then, at the end,
we have fulfilled our potential and performed well.

From quiet homes and first beginnings,
Out to the undiscovered ends,
There's nothing worth the wear of winning,
But laughter and the love of friends.
