\par    specifications..just don't rename the index file until we've looked at it.

\par    rationale for using meta tags rather than javascript.

\par  With the applets, there is a virus concern and with script I 
\par    believe there is a security concern.
\par  Well, actually, the virus and security are the same thing...one 
\par    is concerned about security because of possibly getting a virus.
\par  With Java Script I understand there is a concern about someone 
\par    getting info off of your hard disk.
\par  So, one is more concerned with applets because one might contract 
\par    a virus, whereas with favascript there is not that concern.
\par  Actually, I think that concern about getting info from you 
\par    rcomputer is with applets, but perhaps it can be done with either.
\par  I'm not that versed on javascript.
\par  This is so confusing--I think I saw the concern was with java 
\par    script but recent versions of browsers alleviate that problem.  Not sure 
\par    though.
\par  Well, you might be right about that...there has been a lot coming 
\par    about these things an dI'm not that informed myself.
