Well surprise surprise! I had noticed that Dana felt slightly "heavy" and remember that the last time I had seen them mating was around 1/15/99. However, by some quirk of fate I must have forgotten to write their mating down on my calendar, website, AND database so I wasn't sure. However on the night of February 10th, I went upstairs at 10:30 and found that Dana had a single pink pup in the nest! I was rather disappointed because if there was only one it surely wouldn't survive. However as I watched she began to wriggle and squeeze and next thing I new there was a new baby in the nest! She had struggled a bit to have it, and it looked rather dark so I was afraid it wouldn't make it. I had to go to bed so I couldn't stay and up and watch, but by the next morning both pups were perfect and pink and--DARK EYED! That means they're both siamese! ::elated::

2/27/99 Wow! One of the girls already has an eye peeked open ;)

2/17/99 Both Damini and Chandani are females =) I **might** (and this is a big might) be keeping one of them for Gemedet.

2/12/99 Yup both definitely dark eyed! Since I'm pretty sure Dana is gg now, they'd make great mates for some of Adia's argente spots, or some colorpoints from Lilith's upcoming litter.

2/11/99 Awww! I *think* both are dark eyed (ie siamese) but I'm not sure, because the difference is slight at this age. Watch them both turn out to be white! The more I think about it, the more I think they are...
