Catherine Beers Schmidt

Dear BEERS researcher, My oldest BEERS is the widow, Catherine Beers Schmidt who maried 26 Apr 1780, Trinity Psh Church, Wall Street, NY to William Olive b 17 Nov 1753 in Chatham, Kent, ENG. I find the birth of a Catherine to Henry Beers and Elizabeth on 2 Apr 1758 in the IGI, but no proof she is the correct one. She is supposedly, according to family records, "Dutch" of NY. I'm glad to share, but have little more on the BEERS, lots on the Olives who went on as Loyalists to St. John, NB where both died. They were ship builders there for a number of generations.
