My gggrandfather: JAMES MILTON BEARSE b.10 Sept 1844 Illinois d.2 Nov 1916 Washington m.MARIAN SOPHIA GREEN MUNN 21 Oct 1866 [I have lots on her family] According to the death certificate of James, he was the son of DAVID BEARSE b.NY and MARY KNIGHT b.VA and d.possibly WA I do know that James was a soldier with a Wisconsin unit during the Civil War. Marian was a 17 yr old widow prior to their marriage, after which they removed to Nebraska. After her death in 1889, James came on to Washington. Other than children of James and Marian this is all I know of the BEARSE ancestors. Any tid-bit of information ie: siblings/parents of James, will be appreciated.
