Taken march 30,1999
Due to make arrival October 9, 1999
This is the first photo of Emily, she is still teeny tiny. In fact, she is only about three to four inches long and weighs just about an ounce. Despite the small proportions, you can see a fully formed baby complete with unique fingerprints you can even count the little fingers.
Every day I get more excited over Emily's arrival and yesterday as I put the wire egg holder in a drawer I told Tom we will need this next year since we will have 2 wonderful grandchildren to dye eggs with!
God truly blesses our lives and his miracles just flood us everyday, I am so privileged to know him and to receive the blessings that he has given us. Spring is just a little more precious this year knowing that next time we see the earth bursting with new growth that we will have this bundle of love to share it with.
Jeremiah 1:5 tells us that God knows us even before we are in the womb, Rest gently dear Emily you are in Gods loving site even now.
Well here she is our wonderful new granddaughter!
as you can see she decided to take a little longer then her due
date, but she got here in her own good time.
Here she is fed, changed had her nap and ready for play, don't they
grow quick! Emily's favorite foods are sweet potatoes and her favorite
playmate is Becca of course.
