Although DeeDee and PaPa are not youngsters, they are newlyweds, having just celebrated their 3rd anniversary. Their love of animals is just one of the many things they have in common.

Papa was a submarine sailor for twenty-four years before retiring from the US Navy and DeeDee was a receptionist. He now works at Kennedy Space Center on the payloads that go in the Space Shuttle while she stays at home taking care of PIRATE and Crew......That is when she's not at the mall, beach, swimming pool, or with our grand children. Between the two of us, we have six grown children and seven very loved grand children.

We own a sailboat, which is where we usually spend most of our free time on weekends.

Pirate is Papa's baby and loves to cuddle with him when Papa gets home from work. Pirate is very jealous of his time with Papa and is not very gracious at all if their time together is disturbed. Amanda loves to take naps with DeeDee in the afternoon and she too eagerly awaits 5 o'clock when she hears her Papa's truck arriving home from work. Casey was bought for DeeDee, but he loves Papa too and little TieDye(aka Peep) will usually bite anyone that comes near her cage(it must be a female thing). Being nocturnal, Sydney comes out and plays with DeeDee at night and then again with Papa early in the morning while its still dark, before retiring for the day.

Pirate and Crew live in a gorgeous condo in Rockledge, Florida and between Casey's jabbering, Peep's peeping, Amanda's barking, and Pirate telling them all to "Shut Up!!!", we make up one noisy, very happy family. By the way, Sydney barks at night when he doesn't get enough attention.

Papa and DeeDee just got back from a weeks vacation at Paradise Island, Bahamas and deciding that was their favorite place to vacation, had to add a new page to their web site. Be sure to check out "Paradise".
