The Scottish Heritage Festival

PNC Bank Art Center

Holmdel, NJ - Sunday, October 1, 2000

This was the first opportunity for me to represent our Clan & Society at this festival. The weather was pleasant and we had ring-side seats for the athletics as well as the Shepherding demonstrations. This the first year I recall seeing lady athletes competing in the Athletics before; there were two ladies vying for the trophies and money.

My sister (and fellow member) Linda Fox helped me all day at the tent this year. This was the second time she was able to help me out this Gaming season. Thanks Lin! My family was also in attendance.

There was a fine crowd and lots of visitors but not a lot of traffic for Leslie. I did speak to two Leslies, one a previous member of the ACLS and the other a prospective new member. They were both very nice gentlemen and they signed my guest registry. All in all, it was a lot of fun. We'll see how it goes next year.

This is our Society's representative tent. Pictured here are Linda Fox (my sister and fellow CLS Member), Karlee Schuster (my daughter's friend) and Sara, my daughter.
Here we are lined up for the Clan Parade. B=>F, L=>R: Leslie Seich (myself), Wayne - my husband, Linda Fox, Karlee Schuster, Drew Seich, and Sara Seich.

The Clan Campbell Society North America's Tent. Heather Campbell-Smith (hiding in the depths of the tent) is a friend of mine as well as my District Leader for CCSNA. Since I am a Campbell also, I am a member of this Society too. Pictured in front of the tent is Karlee & Drew all dressed up in Heather's kid tent stuff. They always go there to play, since Heather has the cool stuff, you know?

Hope to see You at the Festival next Year!
