Through the eyes of Love I see,
A lonely person that used to be Me.
Where there was darkness there now is light,
and now my future looks so bright!
Where there was sorrow there now is joy,
I'm filled with all the good things I now
enjoy.
Where there was pain there is happiness now,
I don't know why it happened and I won't
ask how.
Where there was loneliness, yes I often felt
blue,
is filled with the Love I have for you.
There once was helplessness surrounded by
fear,
that no longer remains when you are near.
There once was hopelessness mixed with deep
despair,
that has long since vanished now you are
there.
My heart was filled with anger which is so
often true,
which has now been replaced with Love by
You!
Because now through the eyes of Love I see,
You have made me into the person that now
is Me.
