WEDDING ANNOUNCEMENTS
Iris Hamilton Bride of Frank Neesom
The manse of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church
Was the setting for a pretty wedding Saturday
Morning in which Iris, daughter of Mr. A. C. Hamilton
Of Peterborough became the bride of Mr. Frank Neesom,
Son of Mrs. Neesom and the late Mr. C. Neesom, of
Manchester, England.
The Rev. C. G. Boyd performed the ceremony
and the bride was given away by her father.
She wore a gown of white net over taffeta and a veil of
Chantilly lace caught to a pearl crescent. She carried red
Roses and white carnations.
Miss June Hamilton as bridesmaid for her sister was
wearing primrose yellow taffeta with a flowered hat to
match and she carried pink roses and white carnations
with lilac 'mums.
The groomsman was Mr. Jack Mortimer.
A reception was held in Foster's Driftwood Room,
Mrs. Hamilton receiving the guests.
She was wearing a navy colored silk dress and
White hat and a red rose corsage.
After a honeymoon in United States, the bride and groom
Will live in Peterborough.

MARRIAGE
The Parents of Janine Perry of Peterborough,
and Seán McKeon of Mullingar Ireland,
wish to announce the marriage of their children.
The ceremony took place Sunday August 22, 1999
on the Pagoda Bridge in Jackson Park, Peterborough.
The happy couple is now residing in Dublin Ireland.

Have celebrated their 50th.
Wedding anniversary.
They were married Jan. 10. 1923,
By Rev. D. G. Bain, in Candlish Memorial
VF Church, Cathcart Road, Glasgow,
Scotland.
Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton came to
Canada and settled in Peterborough
in 1953.
Mr. Hamilton retired for the
Bank of Nova Scotia, George St. Branch
in 1969.
They have four children, Mrs. Eldon Llewellyn
(Ruth), of Scarborough; Mrs. Frank Neesom
(Iris) of Peterborough; Mrs. Gerry Gray
(June), of Bridgenorth and a son,
John Hamilton of London, England.
There are five grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton are well known
In and around Peterborough for their
Scottish and old time ballroom dancing.
