Catnip Crunchy Cake by Jinx

Ingredients:
1. Small paper dixie cup
2. Handfull of crunchy kitty treats
3. Handfull of ground catnip
4. Enough wet cat food to fit into your dixie cup
5. A bowl

Directions:
1) Put the wet food into a bowl and mix in the crunchy kitty treats nice and good.
2) Put the mixture into the dixie cup and level off the top. Then, onto a plate, lift the cup upside down and let it slide out onto the plate hopefully still taking the cup'd shape (if you do it correctly).
3) Now you can sprinkle your catnip onto the cake and serve to the kitty. Believe me, it's yummy!

Moist Morsels by Daisy Mae

1 teaspoon dried catnip
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon tomato paste

Directions:
0) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
1) In a medium sized bowl, combine the ground beef, carrot, cheese, brewers yeast, catnip and crumbs. Add the egg and tomato paste and mix very well.
2) Using your hands, roll the mixture into walnut sized meatballs, unless your kitty likes to eat smaller, and place on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
3) Bake for about 15 minutes, a couple minutes less if you made them smaller, until the meatballs are brown and firm. Cool them completely before storing in an airtight container in the fridge. Makes 2 dozen.

Turkey Jerky (Mmmm) by Daisy Mae

Ingredients: 1 pound ground turkey 2 tablespoons tomato paste 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 2 teaspoons brewers yeast

Directions:
0) Preheat oven to 120 degrees or the lowest setting
1) Combine all the ingredients and mix well.
2) Line a jelly roll pan with foil and spread the meat mixture on it. Using your hands flatten the mixture to about 1/4" thick.
3) Place the meat in the oven and prop the oven door a crack using a wooden spoon. (Make sure kitties are out of the kitchen when oven door is left open.)
4) Bake for about 2 hours, until the meat is quite dry. Remove the meat from the oven and place another foil sheet over it. Grasping both sheets of foil, flip the meat over and peel the foil from the top.
5) Place the meat back in the oven with the door propped open and bake for another 1 to 2 hours. The meat will be red and dry, and YUMMY, like jerky.
