The Everlasting Covenant The Everlasting Covenant is referenced 15 times in 15 verses in the Authorized Version. Those references are:
Concerning Hebrews 13:20, one of the grace movement's prolific writers and defenders of the revelation of the Mystery as given by Paul, the apostle, wrote in his commentary on Hebrews: "Here the reader should take the time to carefully consider Titus 1:2,3; 2 Tim 1:1,9 and Eph 3:11. If the "eternal covenant" of Hebrews is not that spoken of in these verses, what is it, and with whom was it made? Clearly it is that covenant, or promise, that God made with and to Himself "before the world began":" The question is asked, "what is it, and with whom is it made?" The following is submitted from the references wherein the Everlasting Covenant is identified:
It is very clear when one follows the Bible that the Everlasting Covenant has nothing to do with Paul's Gospel, the revelation of the Mystery or the eternal purpose and promise God made before the world began concerning the Body of Christ. It has everything to do with the establishment of the Kingdom of God on the earth in the last days of prophecy. The reality of the Everlasting Covenant coming to its consummation is that Jehovah Jesus will be Israel's God, Israel will be His people, and they shall dwell in the land forever. Beware of those that use the Bible and verses, even changing the words on the page, to fit their religious presumptions, ideas, and agendas; for we are not ignorant of Satan's devices which come upon the Body of Christ. The Authority for faith is not man and his commentaries, but the written Word of God. |
