Dear Promise Keeper,
Choose this day...As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.’ (Joshua 24:15)
That’s our theme for PK’s 1999 conference season.
With these words, we’ll be calling men not only to commit themselves whole-heartedly to serve Christ and to impact our society in the 21st century, but to take responsibility for the spiritual leadership of their families.
As we all know, families are in trouble today -- a cultural climate of easy divorce, fatherlessness, workaholism, adultery, self-gratification, etc. has taken its toll. The result: marriages are frail and millions of children are growing up without the love, protection and guidance they need.

Many men, out of ignorance, apathy or confusion, are allowing the culture to dominate their family life and relationships -- with my headlong pursuit of winning and career success, for much of my life I was one of them!
In fact, what most men don’t realize -- Christians included -- is this: if they are not actively choosing Christ for their families, they are passively letting the pervasive influences of an ungodly culture tear them down!
That’s why our conferences this year will be a challenge to Christian and non-Christian men alike to make a choice!
Here at the end of the 20th century, the options are
