Our favorite family outing is attending the annual Touck-A-Truck in Thousand Oaks!  This year, we made sure we'd get there early, rain/shine, to be the first in line to try out the more popular activities.  Aly got to ride on a police cycle, Micah worked a front loader, we all got to work a fire hose, and we visited our favorite trash truck company, WM!

WE love how WM takes pride in their trash trucks by keeping them so clean and shiny!  Micah is still fascinated by these trucks and continues to wave "hi!" to the drivers that collect our trash every monday morning.  

Shooting the firehose at a truck 50 feet away was awesome!  Bethany was alittle shy using the hose, but Micah and Aly had no problem aiming at the target.  They even tried to aim the hose at Jeff, who was filming them.

The kids love putting things together.  Micah recently got a Knex building set and had tons of fun with Aly as they worked together to build this ferris wheel.   

We have a new pet in our home!  It's a baby dwarf hamster.  The kids take turns cleaning out the cage, changing out it's water and food, and picking up its "trails" when it strolls our hallways in its hamster ball.  Aly claims that she has successfully taught Snowey how to sit, stand and follow her voice.

The kids are doing great with this new responsibility.

Bethany thinks Snowey is "sooooo cuuuuuuute!".
