We drove up north for Rick and Todd's yogurt store Grand Opening!  Yup, our family loves frozen treats.  It was super cool, because my parents were also in town and everyone was there to celebrate this special event.  The store is located in Sunnyvale right off the El Camino Real.  Be prepared to build your own yogurt!  Yummy!

If you haven't figured out Micah's costume for Halloween this year, here's a hint... WM. (Waste Management)  He wanted to dress up as a garbage man and I took on the challenge of digging out my dusty sewing machine to make his wish come true.  Aly wanted to be a cowgirl and Beth was a princess.  We all went treating at Disney's California Mickey's Treat Party.  Cousins KK, Sydney, Owen, and Naomi also came down to LA to join in on the fun.  Lots of fun and Lots of candy!  We stayed out passed midnight for this special engagement.  Everyone was still wide awake when we got back to our hotel.  It must've been from all the candy they had.

P.S.  We finally got to ride the Toy Story Mania ride and it was AWESOME!  Everyone got to participate in the ride, even Bethany! Be sure to try it out if you plan to visit Disney California.

The kids got to pick out their own pumpkins to decorate our house with. Bethany insisted on taking home a huge pumpkin, but at the end, Jeff managed to convince her that princesses preferred the smaller and cuter ones.

Bethany is TOTALLY into princesses now. It's a good thing we still have Aly's collection for her to explore and play with.

We introduced football to the kids on Thanksgiving day.  It was fun to hang out together as a family on this special day. Aly even got a little sentimental and stopped to say how much she enjoyed this family time we shared and wanted this to become a tradition. (So cute!)  It's moments like this that reminds me how important and priceless family time is.

We faced many trials this year, but God has always given us strength to overcome them all.  Praise God for His unfailing love.

We wish you and your family a Blessed Christmas and a Joyous New 2009!
