gajonera@aol.com Deseo's letter is written as follows:
Dear 49ers,
I can only assume that after our recent reunion, we are now back to our normal activities. We have reviewed 6 hours of video tapes and scanned numerous pictures and came to the conclusion that it was a successful journey worth repeating-if our health permits, by the Grace of God, as we understand Him.
This letter is written out of necessity after intensive discussion with my East Coast classmates. While admittedly successful, our group can accomodate some changes, if we are to survive as an association with a purpose for the common good.
To make it brief and to the point, we of the East Coast group make the following suggestions. Hopefully, it will be given due consideration in our future meetings, if you are to adopt a policy of inclusion.
1. That the term of office of our leaders be defined as to the length of time such as one, two or more years.
2. That the venue and homebase be changed or rotated to lessen the burden to the same individual/s. Suggestion is to move to LA/Long Beach area to strategically locate in tne middle of California considering that people coming from out of town also want to see the Northern San Francisco.
3. That we select our leaders fron those who have the matured demeanor-morally and spiritually able to tolerate our aging process.
4. Finally, that we periodically update our directory to provide a means of simply getting in touch with one another-either by letter or e-mail. We need to take advantage of this age of technology that allows us to communicate easily.
I will be getting in touch with you more frequently because I sincerely care about our future as a loving support group.
Sincerely,
Des Del Rosario
