1. There is no provision for automatically including the Print Dateor Date of Last Update in any report. This must presently be done manually.
2. The list of relationships (Natural, Adopted, etc) could be improved by adding a new one: "Descended from", where the specifics are not known. The list of relationships should include this, and the label in the reports should be "Descended from" rather than "Child of".
3. FTM has no global Text Find and Replace. This is an oft-requested feature.
4. As one uses FTM for a while, one develops a personal style, used in the various reports and trees. There is no way to establish a template or otherwise incorporate your personal style in newly forged FTW files; they always have the factory defaults. Making all the changes is a tedious and error-prone undertaking. 
5. FTM needs a Find String feature. It has a Find Individual feature, but it only locates the individual — exactly as advertised. If the search criterion was a string, the user must hunt for that string among all the fields and source citations associated with that individual.
