That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus
and believe in your heart that God has raised Him
from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
WHAT MUST YOU DO TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN
1. You must admit your need for Christ.
The Bible tells us that all of us have sinned.
You must recognize that there is nothing
we can do by ourselves to bridge the gap that
sin creates between us and God.
2. We must believe that Jesus died on the cross
for us and then rose from the dead. Jesus is
the only answer. He took the punishment
for our sins. The gap between us and God was
bridged by the cross.
3. You must turn away from your sins.
It is not enough to just admit your sins to God. God calls us to turn our back on the sinful ways
in our lives. This may happen gradually.
The Holy Spirit will work in your heart to help
to surrender area's of your life to Christ.
4.We must invite Jesus to come into our lives.
Jesus waits to be invited. He gives us the
ability to make our own choices.
