THE GREAT COMMISSION

Then He said to his disciples "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest therefore to send out workers into his harvest field." Matthew 9:37-38

My original plans for this page was to share information about missionaries. But I have decided to also try to encourage others to share Jesus Christ in their own mission field, whether that is in their own back yard or at work or at the other side of the world. I would like to dedicate this page to the memory of two very special women who were tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident on April 19,1998.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20

We are to go-whether it is in our own back yard or to another country-and make disciples. It is not a choice, but Jesus command to everyone who calls Him "Lord." We all have spiritual gifts that we can use to help fulfill the Great Commission. Jesus is always there to help us as we fulfill this commandment.
