                   Everybody's Favorite Bean Curd Soup

   6      cups          soup stock
   1 1/4  teaspoons     salt
   2      slices        ginger -- shredded
   2      oz            cooked chicken -- shredded
   2 1/2  tablespoons   dried black mushrooms, soaked and shredded
   1      square        bean curd, 1/2 lb -- shredded
     1/2  teaspoon      sesame oil
                        dash white pepper (optional)

Bring soup stock to a boil with salt and ginger.

Add cooked chicken, black mushrooms, bean curd and shrimp.  Cook for 1 1/2mins.

Spoon soup into bowl and add a few drops of sesame oil and white pepper before serving.
