                         Basil-alfredo Fettuccine

   2       c            Cream -- heavy
   1       c            Basil -- fresh, coarse chop
   9       oz           Fettuccine -- fresh
   8       oz           Montrachet -- crumble
     1/2   c            Tomatoes -- Italian, diced
     1/2   c            Basil -- fresh, slivered
   1       t            Salt

  Bring the cream to a boil, reduce heat immediately to     
  simmer, uncovered, until thick. Add chopped basil and     
  cook an additional 3 minutes. Cook fettuccine until al    
  dente. Add cheese to sauce and re-warm. Pour sauce in     
  warmed serving bowl. Drain pasta and add to sauce and     
  mix. Serve with remaining cheese, tomato, slivered        
  basil and black pepper.
